Lavina Rich
Lavina “Quita Jones” Rich began training in 1995 at Grossmont College under Kathy Meyer, Terry Wilson, and Peter Kalivas. After obtaining her AA in Dance, Lavina transferred to UCSD where her primary training was with Jean Isaacs. She also has worked with other talented choreographers such as Monica Bill-Barnes, Joe Goode, Patricia Rincon, an; of course- grace shinhae jun. In 2002, Lavina graduated from UCSD with a BA in U.S. History and decided to take a break from dance. She is easing her way back into the San Diego dance community- training with many of her dance foundations.Lavina would like to thank Gracie for believing in her and affording her the opportunity to dance again with bkSOUL. She would also like to give special thanks to Terry Wilson for her recent inspiration and for re-igniting the fires inside of her…. Terry you f***in’ rock! And to E-dawg…thank you for your support and unconditional love. Oh yeah…Lavina would like Mollie Sue to win Top Model, Catherine McPhee to win American Idol, and she‘s not sure about Survivor yet…she‘ll get back to you. Thank you
